03 - Khadi w. Silk Pallu Ilkal Reimagined Saree

Re-creations of a historically significant weave. A hand-spun and handwoven cotton (Khadi) Ilkal saree with a pure mulberry silk pallu woven on the pitloom using the ‘kondi’ technique of joining the seragu (pallu) warp to the body warp. A saree with a pharaspet border and a tope teni pallu woven with 3 shuttle in the weft that is of naturally coffee dyed hand spun cotton and a warp of 120s cotton. This comes with a coordinated pure silk Khunn blouse fabric.
