Kempu Kamala Kasuti (2) 12x12 Cushion Cover

Pure mulberry silk fabric woven in the quaint clusters that also weave our Ilkal sarees forms the base with an elegant topstitch that is subtle and classy. The centre panel is of a Kasuti motif, 'Kamala' embroidered with utmost perfection on pure silk fabric. KaleNele works with a group of women who are based in Dharwad and who come from distressed lives and backgrounds. We train them through a NGO called RAPID, so that it can help them have a livelihood. Each purchase goes a long way in supporting our mission.

This cushion cover would work beautifully with the Swarna collection or make a great contrast with the Ananta collection. Every panel is first top stitched with a lining fabric. Then joined to perfection in the intended pattern. The front is then completed with another layer of lining. Coordinated plain back with lining and zipper fastener.
