Maroon/Black Padavi Khunn Pendant Necklace
Padavi, a gradation, one of endearing little gubbis ("sparrows" in language Kannada) strung one after the other. Potlis of cotton with an outer covering of traditional Khunn borders of different colours. The pendant here is created by stringing these three potlis to each other, brought together aesthetically. The delicate attachment made with precision thread work so that they elegantly swing, separate yet together.
The silver loop that connects the pendant to the dori ever so perfectly so that it sits just right has also had a lot of thought put in, in addition to the overall design. An addition from another very talented local artisan to help us bring this unique piece to you. A dori as the tie holds it all together.
Each of these pendants has an option for you to pair it up with earrings so do not forget to check out our collection of Khunn Earrings (representative photo available and earrings can be found in our Jewellery section)!
